Approach

How the work runs

Four stages on every project, so the cost and the programme are clear from the start.

Stage one

Survey

Every elevation assessed, repairs identified and a fixed price issued.

Stage two

Preparation

Washing down, scraping, filling and priming. Exterior coatings fail without it.

Stage three

Application

Applied in suitable weather conditions so the coating bonds properly.

Stage four

Inspection

A walk around the property together, with care advice for the finish.

Common questions

Exterior painting questions

What time of year can exterior work be done?
Spring through to autumn is ideal, though modern coatings allow work through much of the year provided surfaces are dry and temperatures are suitable.
Can a uPVC front door be resprayed?
Yes. uPVC, composite and metal doors can be resprayed in almost any colour, giving a factory quality finish at a fraction of replacement cost.
How long will the finish last?
With correct preparation and quality coatings, exterior paintwork typically lasts eight to ten years or more.
Do you handle high level work?
Yes. The appropriate access equipment is arranged for the property and included in the quotation.
